James (Jim) Martin is married to a wonderful, supportive wife Becky and has three daughters Angela, Megan, and Jaimie. His father-in-law Gary Cadwell, who has been a member of LCFD 6 for more than 30 years, encouraged him to join the department soon after he and Becky were married. Jim has been a volunteer firefighter for LCFD 6 since the Spring of 2000, several years later, he received his EMT and BLS Instructor Certification. In 2012, he was commissioned as a volunteer EMS Chaplain and is currently serving as one of Lewis County Chaplaincy Service chaplains supporting all EMS agencies, law enforcement agencies, and all citizens of Lewis County.
